The Parlour Boys, Lexington's own, have beaten down a nation's worth of rock bands.

Today Verizon Wireless and MySpace introduced the Parlour Boys to the mobile world when the companies announced the band and their song "Lovers" as the winner of the "Calling All Bands" contest. Parlour Boys were selected from more than 4,000 entries to be the first unsigned band to launch their career on V CAST Music, the most comprehensive mobile music service in the country. The band will have their song turned into a full-song music download, music video, ring tone and ring back tone that will be released on Verizon Wireless' V CAST service. [link]
