6/16/2005 02:50:00 AM|||David M. F. Schankula||| Last Sunday I attended the 2nd Anniversary celebration of The House of Prayer for All Nations at the Springs Inn out on Harrodsburg Road (across from Turfland Mall). We have just posted pictures from the event in the galleries.

Reverend Holt, celebrating his church's 2nd anniversary.
The House of Prayer, located on Limestone just South of High Street. I've been going there for service, off and on, for a few months now and was honored to be in attendance on Sunday.
I am not a religious person and have not spent much time in church. I am also not here to convert you to anything -- I have nothing for you to convert to.
I will say, however, The House of Prayer is a very peaceful and envigorating place. To me, this is what church should be.
The church is a small one, mostly the extended family of its elder, Reverend Holt, and his wife, First Lady Holt. Their dedication and their love, on the other hand, are anything but small.
If you would like to drop in on The House of Prayer for All Nations, they will welcome you regardless of your religious disposition. They meet at 7:30PM Tuesday and Thursday evenings and at Noon on Sunday.
I showed up with a camera one cold winter night and they let me take pictures. Most places we go we are treated with suspicion -- as though a camera is a weapon.
Your denomination and your beliefs don't matter.
If you're looking for something to do one night, I promise you, this is it.|||111890564595239024|||Out On The Town
